Brian Shotto is an expert in the healthcare purchasing & supply chain field with over 30 years of experience working across a broad range of healthcare companies such as manufacturers, specialty pharmacy, specialty distributors and provider channels as well as 3PL's and transportation service providers. Brian has deep experience in 3rd Party Logistics, supply chain optimization, design and channel strategies. He is an expert in the movement of products safely and effectively to the site of care with a watchful eye to cost-effectiveness.
Brian is considered one of the industry’s most recognized and respected thought leaders in global distribution operations, direct and third-party logistics and healthcare supply chain management. As a former SVP of Manufacturer Services at Owens & Minor, Brian was responsible for over $30B of medical device purchases and also lead the US and European logistics business units. His responsibilities required that he work closely with clients to maintain a sharp focus on distribution, logistics, product security, order-to-cash, contract-to-cash and GMP/GDP compliance.
Prior to joining Owens & Minor, Brian was a Senior Principal Consultant with Blue Fin Group a premier management and technology consulting firm focused solely on healthcare commerce. Prior to Blue Fin Group, Brian was VP Global Distribution Strategy for United Parcel Service (UPS) and VP of Supply Chain for the American Red Cross and VP of Healthcare Operations for Federal Express.
Brian’s mission is to passionately collaborate with healthcare clients to optimize their potential in the positioning, sale, flow and consumption of product-based therapies.
He earned a B.A. in Economics from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, VA.
Kevin has more than 30-years of diverse experience having served as Vice President of the Healthcare Logistics unit of FedEx Supply Chain, the Vice President of Strategic Solutions for Owens & Minor Corporation, and Global Marketing Director of Product Management for UPS Healthcare Logistics.
Kevin has extensive knowledge of the vastly differentiated and rapidly evolving supply channel models for pharmaceuticals, in-vitro diagnostics & medical devices. He is passionately driven to leverage his knowledge and real-life experiences to expand the access and reduce the cost of the delivery of healthcare products via the application of emerging technologies and the optimization of processes, while instilling courage to institute change.
Kevin holds a degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, is a joint patent holder for the development of Promising technology and has published numerous articles on the current and future state of healthcare logistics.
Josh is a healthcare supply chain executive with over 25 years of supply chain expertise. He specializes in developing innovative global supply chain networks for leading companies in the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining The Lumens Group, Josh was the Senior Director of Global Strategy for UPS's healthcare division. Josh was a key stakeholder and driver of UPS’ global healthcare strategic vision over the past 20 years.
Josh was responsible for the development of the company’s global healthcare strategy, new product development and mergers and acquisitions for the healthcare segment. During his time at UPS, Josh was able to develop an industry leading, end to end global supply chain network to support the current and future needs of the healthcare industry.
In his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife Fongela and their two children, Parker, and Olivia. Josh is passionate about giving back to his community, he volunteers his time to the local United Way and coaches’ youth football in Georgia.
Josh earned a B.A. in Supply Chain Management from the University of Nevada.
Lori Wishard is known for her impressive ability to see the big picture, understanding the market, opportunities for optimization and cost strategies that maximize profits. With more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Lori has been instrumental in the start-up, turnaround and acquisition of a broad range of companies, helping them achieve record sales and increased bottom line results. To achieve these accomplishments, Lori has worked with physicians, advisory boards, pharmacies, distributors, private label manufacturers and most major medical companies.
Prior to joining The Lumens Group, Lori served in several leadership positions including Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Media Rapids, Category Director for Owens & Minor, Group Director, Marketing & Business Development Worldwide for Johnson & Johnson, Global Franchise Director for Johnson & Johnson and Category Director for Bayer Diabetes Care. Based on her broad experience managing global companies and products, Lori is committed to ensuring profitable growth for all clients and partners.
